Filmmaker at Unstuck Project
Rachel Petrillo is the founder of the Unstuck Project, as well as an advocate for social justice and mental health issues. She is a believer in gritty people willing to tell the hard stories in order to bridge the feeling of being alone in our pain, and in our experiences of shame that tend to create isolation.
Rachel has interviewed, researched and filmed the stories of those who feel stuck, disenfranchised and like they don’t belong, from the homeless community on Skid Row in Los Angeles, to stories of loss, addiction, poverty, and abuse in Nicaragua, Jamaica, Hawaii, Bali and the States.
